Tripod Cat Tree

A cat tree on a round timber disk base. A central sisal scratching post is mortise-and-tenoned into the disk and runs the full height to a round flat top disk (the original woven basket nest is replaced by this plain round panel). Four climbing posts are tenoned into the same base; each carries one fan-shaped (annular-sector) platform — a pie wedge with two straight radial edges and inner/outer arcs — that opens around the central post, the four sectors staggered in a rising spiral like a winding staircase. Posts are turned cylinders; every joint uses a square tenon so the round posts and platforms cannot spin. No railings. CNC-milled from timber with mortise-and-tenon joinery and no metal fasteners.
